Planned a long day ahead for day 2 so we must have a sumptuous breakfast, complimentary by Xuan Mai before we headed out. The hotel provided 2 options: Vietnamese or American brekkie. So mr zeRi and I chose one each.

All come with fruits and coffee

Vietnamese brekkie - pho again

I went "american" - baguette with ham and sausage

Chanced upon a wet market near our hotel en route to Reunification Palace. What an ideal place to peek into the daily life of the locals. So authentic.

Wet Market

Reunification Palace - ticket counter does closed for lunch!

Inside the palace - it's actually quite boring ;p

Helicopter at the Palace's rooftop

Think it's the old projector room...it's behind the in-house cinema

Mahjong, anyone?

Cathedral of Notre Dame

Post office, just next to the cathedral

Phone booth - the ONLY place with air-con. Seeking a respite from the cruel heat
